Aye! Hip Hopper has debuted as #7 in the Bombay Times / Radio Mirchi Charts.. i’ve heard that the channels are bangun it like my bai’s curried eggplant dish!!
still, i have yet to catch it on air! radio or TV.. i haven’t even seen my own video playing live.. maybe thats because i don’t own a TV.. haven’t had one for over 3 years..
Quick Question: do you think i should get a TV?

Hell yeah!! 3 years is like way overdue! besides, dont u feel like being tuned into whats going on around u!? i know there’s newspapers, radio, word of mouth… but SEEING is believeing!
and ur video is as great as the song! Altho, in the same breath i gotta add, when i saw the vid for the 1st time, i was like “woah!” i mean the whole “bai-sa’ab” attraction thingy is stuff u read in Agony aunt columns and more like a 1st viewing it on tv.. but thats whats cool and different at the same time.. it stands out! its naughty cool.. and dont u wanna how its turned out in its entirety!?
p.s. - youtube’s an alternative. almost. not quite.

I think that it’s quite admirable that you’ve been able to go so long without a television. People are too reliant on media and technology these days… but on the other hand, without media and technology, I’d never have found out about you!
I love your music. “Aye! Hip Hopper” is very catchy. I can’t wait for the summer so I can get your album. I just have one problem… I’m not fluent in Hindi. Are there English translations available, or could you provide them? Although the video is helpful, I’d love to know exactly what I’m singing along to =P

Nice to listen such a good hip-hop in Hindi after such a long time.
