apparently the in-store experience for my “dakku daddy” album is worst than the story line of “Jhoom Barabar”!! ..  Shitty!!

meaning, we have no visibility.. you have to ask and wait for the CD.. then, they’re always sold out coz they’re not stocking enough copies!!   !!??

how do you stay in the Radio Mirchi charts for 6 weeks without anybody even being able to find your CD?

look.. if your reading this.. i’m NOT asking you to go and actually BUY the disc.. coz i downloaded that shit too.. .. but..

hey peeps..

i just got back from my first ever trip to chennai.. i flew down to co-produce and sing on a tamil film song for music director Harris Jayaraj.. Harris is a super hero that has made countless hits in tamil.. he has only done one Bollywood film, RHTDM, but his “Zara Zara” song is an all time classic for our generation..

super crazy!! i was in the recording booth with a diction tutor who was cueing me to sound more like a tamilian.. word by word.. syllable by syllable.. although i knew what i was generally saying, i had no clue what word meant what!! i must admit it was a very tuff to get all the words right.. tongue twisters galore!! but some how managed.. ha..

last night, i did extensive interviews with radio Mirchi that will be broadcast all over india.. really had a blast with RJ JeetuRaaj.. his Club Mirchi show is mega dope!! he’s a mad man for real.. Mirchi is the second biggest station in India after Star TV.. with 14.7 million listeners you can bet that they’re gonna spread some sweet ishQ..

k.. so about my last question: Nose pierced or No pierced?

so far its 12 against 1.. the majority saying that they dig the nose piercing.. i know that in Indian tradition, it’s only the women who have the right to rock a nose pin.. thats why its natural for us to think that its a girly thing to do.. but F*CK THAT! coz my cutie girlfriend (who i’ve been dating happily for the past few years) bought it for me!!  she can’t get enough of it!!  ahh yeah babygirl!!

our goal with the “hip hopper” vid was to have 100 000 hits in 3 months.. but we got over 200 000 hits in 2 months on youtube alone!! hell ma f*king yeah!!! lets see if we can score a million in 1 year.. that would be super dope..

still, i have yet to catch it on air! radio or TV..  i haven’t even seen my own video playing live.. maybe thats because i don’t own a TV.. haven’t had one for over 3 years..

was hella busy shooting some new stuff..

i performed my “Aye Hip-Hopper” track on the all time classic “Boogie Woogie” dance show.. it aired on sony tv jan 8th.. will post it asap..

shot for my new promos with channel V ’s “The Next Big Thing”..  the platform for artists on steroids.. that will start airing mid jan..

also, was shooting for a bollywood flick called “Alla Ke Bande” (starring Sharman Joshi, Nasrudin Shaw and Faruque Kabir).. i’ve given them my most “ghaati” (indian ghetto) song ever! “Kala Jadoo” .. so in the movie, i’m the dopeman.. i showup with 2 caucasian bodygaurd with uzi’s to sell them a suitcase of maal.. the characters start abusing my hashish.. next thing u know, all these gangsters are lipsyncing to my voice!! Ha was a blast.. the film will release this summer..

nuf respect to everyone who came out to jam.. and special thanx to Anaida & Sunidhi Chauhan for spreading love and holding down the paparazzi..

big up to Times Music for hooking up an army of press reporters from TV stations to radio to print media.. some mad interviews!!

but the best part was that i spat at them with 90% hardcore hindi styles.. i got the “not bad for a kid born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.”

Went for a little get away trip Nashik (Devlali to be exact) last weekend with my homies Ashmit & Sanjeev..

Climbed a mountain to see the Buddha Caves (formerly known as the Pandava Caves) then swam across a rapid river and slapped a raging bull to complete a dare!! Stupid things people do after downing some cold Kingfisher beers.. Sweeeet..
